Multifractals in Marine Science
Multifractal analysis has been shown to be a powerful tool in the investigation of complex patterns of distribution. Specifically, it is an ideal tool for the investigation of scaling phenomena (power law distributions) such as turbulence, which is a ubiquitous phenomena in both atmospheric and oceanic systems.
I set up this page as an information source for researchers interested in multifractals. It is still in its infancy so I hope you will give it some time to grow. Please email me if you have any comments.
